Hanauma Bay

Hanauma Bay was declared a “Blanketed Marine Existence Conservation Location & Underwater Park” in 1967. Shaped within a volcanic cone, these days Hanauma Bay offers a pristine marine atmosphere after the town and county of Honolulu laid out a plan in 1990 to restore the “curved bay” after years of use from the tens of millions of visitors who visit and like to snorkel Hanauma Bay. Voted the “Excellent Seashore Inside The U.S. For 2016”, our volunteers have a sales space located at the seaside stage to help traffic learn about conservation of the reef and the sorts of fish that live there.
